Situated in the picturesque landscape of Japan, Ehime Prefecture served as the backdrop for a remarkable venture into the Australian market, spearheaded by Chef Kengo alongside RW Marketing. This endeavor marked the introduction of an array of new products, carefully curated to showcase the unique flavours and versatility of Ehime’s citrus-based offerings.
Under the expert guidance of Chef Kengo, attendees were treated to an unforgettable gastronomic experience, featuring a delightful assortment of sushi paired harmoniously with Ehime’s citrus-infused creations. From the zesty notes of Citrus Jabra and Yuzu to the aromatic essence of Bitter Orange and Iyokan, each product showcased the rich heritage and exquisite craftsmanship that Ehime is renowned for.
Adding to the allure of the event was the presence of special guest Nobumasa Shimoyama, revered as the World’s Latte Art Champion in 2016. His expertise and passion for the culinary arts further elevated the experience, captivating guests with his unparalleled skill and creativity.
At the heart of it all was Mican, the beloved mascot of Ehime, symbolizing the prefecture’s deep-rooted connection to its citrus bounty. As guests indulged in the culinary delights and sampled the diverse range of citrus offerings, they were transported on a sensory journey that celebrated the essence of Ehime’s culture and tradition.
Organized in collaboration with Tryber and RW Marketing, this event not only showcased the finest flavors of Ehime but also fostered meaningful connections between cultures, bridging the gap between Japan and Australia through a shared appreciation for culinary excellence and innovation.
