Cappy was developed as a completely new brand, created to resonate with the modern Australian market. The client previously had a well-known homegrown brand in Malaysia, celebrated for its strong local appeal and nostalgic value. However, this identity did not translate effectively to a broader, non-Malaysian audience in Australia, where that emotional connection was missing. To successfully localise the product range and connect with Australian consumers, we reimagined the brand from the ground up—crafting a visual and verbal identity that felt relatable, culturally relevant, and scalable for future growth.
We designed a full brand identity, including a new logo, a custom mascot, and an entirely new packaging system that brought energy and clarity to the product range.
Extensive work was done on packaging design, ensuring shelf appeal and cohesion across the range. Additionally, we developed packaging mockups and a dedicated brand page to support upcoming launches and provide a strong foundation for brand storytelling. This work has breathed new life into the brand, positioning Cappy as fresh, engaging, and relevant for the Australian market.
