In 2023, we launched the Asian Chef Club — a passion project turned community movement that united creativity, food, and identity.

Before that, in the quiet of the COVID years, we didn’t pause. Instead, we evolved — redefining not just how we work, but why we do it.

Rewind to 2018, when we opened the doors of the Innovation Centre in our office at Kensington — a place imagined as more than a workspace. Part kitchen, part café bar, part studio and event space, it became a hub for chefs, makers, and storytellers from all walks of life. 

It was a dream that started with a bold decision in 2017 — when we signed the lease on a rundown warehouse, and saw potential where others saw brick and dust.

By 2011, we had already taken our first major step forward — moving into our own office.  Growth was never explosive, but always intentional. We weren’t just delivering campaigns; we were helping brands find their voice and tell stories that mattered.

In 2010, we officially rebranded as RW Marketing, solidifying our identity. 

A year earlier, in 2009, we were quietly gaining momentum — building relationships, refining our process, and deepening our purpose.

But our journey began far from conventional. In 2008, RW Marketing was born inside Clearwater Carwash — a luxury carwash in South Yarra where style met speed and Melbourne’s elite came to shine. 

 

More than a carwash, it was a scene — and the perfect setting for big ideas to take shape. Our first client? The Baker Group, a dynamic business spanning hospitality, nightlife, carwashes, and bars.  What started as branding and marketing support quickly grew into a lasting partnership — built on trust, creativity, and a shared belief in what’s possible.

From a carwash on Punt Road to a custom-built studio in Kensington— this is our story, our journey.

And if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: we don’t just move forward — we restart, every single day.
